Lead Forward Deployment Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a highly autonomous Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) Lead to spearhead the Extension Pod for the Integra Partners PoC engagement. This hybrid role blends senior software engineering, solutions architecture, and direct technical consulting. Key Responsibilities • Lead architecture & implementation of the Target state platform rule engine extension • Design, build, and deploy the Validation REST API (POST /validate) • Drive real-time parallel rule evaluation with strict SLA compliance • Configure ~75 claim validation rules (80% declarative, 20% Go plugins) • Reverse-engineer legacy systems and forward-engineer modern microservices • Integrate AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, spec transpilers, LLM APIs) • Build AI-embedded operations UI for dynamic rule creation/testing • Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) with automated quality gates • Develop unit, integration, and E2E test suites (Playwright/Selenium) • Work directly with client leadership in daily syncs, triage, and live debugging Requirements • 12+ years of software engineering, with 2+ years leading pods/teams • Golang mastery: microservices, concurrency, REST APIs, rule engines • Polyglot skills: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript (React/Angular), shell scripting • SQL/PostgreSQL expertise (schema design, optimization, migrations) • Cloud & infra: Azure (AKS, SQL, DevOps), Docker, Kubernetes • Event-driven systems: Kafka/RabbitMQ, OpenAPI-driven code generation • Proven ability to reverse-engineer rules and forward-engineer clean services • Hands-on with AI dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, LLM APIs) • Strong client communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
