Solutions Architect

About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to join Vizient’s Strategic Growth Engineering team. This role focuses on designing and delivering end-to-end, cloud-native solutions spanning data platforms, full-stack applications, and AI-enabled capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver scalable, secure full-stack architecture across UI, services, and data layers • Act as a hands-on architect by building prototypes, reference implementations, and contributing code • Lead the integration of RAG patterns, Databricks Genie, and conversational AI into application interfaces • Design Databricks-powered data pipelines and lakehouse architectures integrated with application services • Drive adoption of engineering best practices including IaC, CI/CD, observability, and cost optimization • Collaborate with Product, CloudOps, Security, and IT teams to ensure CISO compliance and non-functional requirements Requirements • 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture • Full-Stack Application Design: Angular (UI) & .NET / C# (APIs & Microservices) • Data Engineering: Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, & Pipeline Development • AI/LLM Integration: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Patterns & Databricks Genie • Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security) • Architectural Patterns: API Design, Event-Driven Architectures, & Distributed Systems • DevOps & IaC: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi) & CI/CD Pipelines • Languages: C#, Python, SQL, Bash • Security & Compliance: HIPAA, SOC 2, and Enterprise Security Standards Benefits • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-native solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Work in a contract role with Vizient
