AWS Connect Developer

About the Role We are looking for an AWS Connect Developer/Engineer to join our team for a 6+ month contract. This role involves extensive configuration of AWS Connect, including queues, agents, routing rules, schedules, and operational availability. Key Responsibilities • Configure and maintain AWS Connect queues, agents, routing rules, and schedules • Implement user creation and workflow maintenance • Integrate APIs and third-party platforms • Develop new code using Java or NodeJS • Support AI-powered voice and chat capabilities Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 10+ years of experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or Software Engineer • Strong knowledge of Java or NodeJS enterprise development and integration middleware • 3+ years of hands-on application architecture experience for large enterprise solutions • Experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing, Lex Chatbots, CCP, client streams • Extensive web application development experience for high-scale applications • Strong skills in implementing Service APIs (SOAP, REST) with market-leading API Management tools • Extensive experience delivering microservice-based architecture using APIs, containers, and automation • Experience with NoSQL implementations (e.g., AWS DynamoDB) • Experience with cloud-based technologies (preferably AWS or Kubernetes with OpenShift) • Expert knowledge of data integration solutions in multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environments • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools • Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills • Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM methodology
